My experience with this firm was not what I expected. I had concerns about communication, responsiveness, and clarity regarding the status of my case. I ultimately chose to discontinue services, and the firm refunded the amount I had paid. I appreciate the refund, but overall I did not feel adequately informed or supported during the representation.
Update: Since the owner replied, I want to clarify the timeline with facts from our email exchange and the court docket.
I was never notified by the attorney that the Plaintiff filed their Motion for Summary Judgment in June 2025. I discovered it months later while checking the docket myself.
When I emailed asking for an update, the attorney responded by telling me I had “a bad credit history,” that I was “not in a position to tell him when I’ll pay,” and that he’d “sue me” if I did not pay the remaining $200 immediately.
This was the first time he contacted me about any missed payment, despite months of silence.
He then filed a Motion to Withdraw at 2:41 AM without prior notice, and sent me a different version to sign minutes later.
At that point, I asked for a refund because no response had ever been filed to the Motion for Summary Judgment and I felt unrepresented.
The refund was issued only after I requested it in writing.
I’m sharing these details so others understand my concerns about communication and professionalism. I’m glad the refund was processed, but none of this felt like the “case resolved” situation described in the owner’s reply.
