For context, despite following the move-out checklist to a "T" , which included hiring a professional cleaning company for our move-out and hiring a steam cleaning company to steam clean the carpets, underscoring our commitment to meeting our part of the lease agreement, the owners of the condo we were renting retained 80% of our security deposit. The property management company wanted to justify its claims by describing normal wear and tear as "wall damage", and also alleged damage to blinds. There were no holes and no anchors, and the pictures the management company took at move-out showed no signs of damage to the blinds. After months of back and forth, and getting nowhere with the owners, we hired Steven Fraser, a lawyer of exceptional competence and excellence. He was able to win our case with his confidence and skill. After collecting all of the case information, we got our security deposit back (in full) from the owners. We couldn't have done it without Steven Fraser's representation. We are thankful for an opportunity to feel heard, seen, and served justly. If you have any legal issues, please call Steven.
