I had a fair experience co-counseling with Wolfson & Leon. They were able to secure a fair settlement for my case. Attorney Matthew was great and communicated promptly once the case was settled. The paralegal Jennifer Rivas is very knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and stays on top of her work. Legal assistant Ashley Blanco was also very helpful and patient with me throughout the process. The office itself is clean and presentable.
One downside was the level of follow-up required on my end. I found myself needing to call and email multiple times a week, and at times I had to follow up with medical facilities directly to check on pending bills. While they did a good job negotiating and reducing my bills, it felt like I had to stay very involved to keep things moving. There was also a moment when I was told reductions had been sent out, but after confirming with the facilities, I learned they had not yet received anything.
That being said, I do appreciate their efforts overall. Ashley was especially accommodating and waited for me after hours when I was running late to pick up my check.
Overall, they work ok and can get you a good settlement, especially if you stay proactive and involved in your case. Thank you.
