In 2015 my roof sustained damage from a hail storm, on 10/5/15 I filed with my insurance company and the nightmare began, the insurance company did everything they could to make the process nearly impossible, from stalling me from getting the roof looked at to sending me a threatening letter stating i waited to long to file, which I did not per the paragraph I pointed out to them on how long I had to file, and I did file with the time limit ( this is just a few examples of the roadblocks they kept putting up) This had gone on for 2 years. At this point the insurance adjuster had done all he could and he put me in touch with Hew Woodward on 10/4/17. From the time Hew took the case he kept me informed on how the process was going, we had numerous phone calls during this time and he was always positive and upbeat. In late April early May 2018 Hew advised we would need to take this to trial, one week before the trial date, the insurance company came back with a ridiculous offer, which I flatly refused, Hew asked what number I needed to close this case, gave him the number and the insurance company gave a second offer which I declined, so Hew went back and told the insurance company what number would be acceptable and they finally agreed. Hew was ready to take them to trial and worked up to the very last minute getting ready not knowing if the insurance company was going to settle prior to trial. Hew was so very patient with me as I had many questions (since I never had to go thru something like this before). Hew always made me feel that my case was important and worked so hard to get this situation resolved, he always had the clients (me) best interest in mind.
