Think twice before hiring Jimerson Birr or attorney Jessica Mazariego.
I retained the firm in 2025 for two contract disputes, paying $8,000 in retainers. After the initial consult there was almost no communication or deliverable work—only administrative billing and months of unanswered refund requests. I’ve filed for Florida Bar fee arbitration and disciplinary review.
If you hire any law firm, protect yourself: get everything in writing, keep copies of all emails and invoices, and—where lawful—record meetings and calls. Documentation is your only real leverage if communication breaks down.
