My Experience with Dr. William Young and CGW
About three years ago, I went to a local bank to look for a good CD rate. I was introduced to a man whose title was Regional Bank Vice President. He recommended a two-year money market CD with a fixed interest rate of 7%, which was much higher than the CD rates offered by other banks.
Because he was a bank vice president, we trusted his explanation. He assured us that the investment was no different from a regular CD and that it was fully guaranteed by the FDIC. Based on his position and those assurances, we decided to invest.
About seven months later, second day after Thanksgiving, he called us into his office and told us that we had lost approximately $23,000 of our principal. He then recommended that we sell the investment and move the remaining money into another CD that he claimed could earn 20%.
At that point, we discovered that the product he had originally sold us was actually a five-year investment with a maximum rate of 7%, rather than the two-year CD he told us. We no longer felt comfortable dealing with him and decided to cash out the investment. After only about eight months, we ended up losing approximately $18,000 of our principal.
I later found CGW in Orlando and shared my experience with Dr. William Young. Dr. Young told me that I was not the only person who had experienced problems with this individual. He was willing to represent me and pursue a legal claim on my behalf.
After approximately a year and a half, Dr. Young and his firm successfully recovered the money I had lost.

She took the time to explain the details of the case and answer my questions whenever there was something I did not understand.
