I’ve used this woman, along as one of my great friends, with little to no issue. She was GREAT actually. Unfortunately she’s biased and bases her amount of counsel and assistance off of the clients charges. She herself hates guns & men apparently, if you have possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, she won’t put any motions for suppression, no motions for evidence hearings, no proof of depositions, no defense at open plea, no negotiations. When the judge asked for defendants rebuttals, she had NONE and literally stated it in court. She told us the whole time it was a good case as we were making payments, that we’re never late, on a timely manner, same date every month. (meanwhile, we were reminded constantly about it?) just so happens that after everything was paid off, “the states not budging”. She didn’t once try to plea bargain. She didn’t care to hear any of our defenses. The proof and evidence for our defense was in evidence at the sheriffs department that she wouldn’t even try to use and show the judge what was going on. She allowed the sheriff deputies to lie on the stand like she was the states prosecutor! She wouldn’t even take the time to send an itemized invoice showing the work she’s done, wouldn’t even wait 10 minutes at the jail to speak to her client whose family spent 10thousand dollars. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with any attorney. You always hear the horror stories of attorneys ruining peoples lives, and this is the one who will do so.
