I cannot thank Mr. Hanlon enough for everything he has done for me and my family. When I first hired him, I was facing extremely serious charges, including a trafficking case where I was looking at a minimum mandatory sentence of 7–15 years. I was terrified of what that would mean — not just for me, but for my wife and my kids. The thought of not being there to watch my children grow up or to provide for my family was the hardest thing I’ve ever faced. From day one, Mr. Hanlon took the time to listen to me and understand my situation. He treated me like a person, not just another case file. He fought hard for me every step of the way, and because of his dedication and determination, he was able to win my trafficking case and keep me home with my family. I want to give this review for Attorney Nick Chotos. My son‘s case had been going on for two years .after another Attorney advised us to do a downward departure. We had no idea what it was. There was no explanations as to what to expect thinking that it was some sort of plea that we were agreeing to. Not until Nick got involved in our case did it start moving . not all law firms are the same because they say criminal law and I found that out the hard way, but thanks to Nick and hanlon law. We had a very good outcome. I would definitely recommend them if you or a family member are accused of a crime specifically a sex crime. You definitely want this law firm on your side.
Will Hanlon made a stressful situation feel manageable from the very beginning. He was immediately available for me on the weekend and met with me on a Saturday! He took the time to really listen, which immediately put me at ease. Communication was clear and consistent, and I never felt left in the dark. Will Hanlon-Over priced and no real help. Made it sound really good and after I paid him his whole tune changed. Wouldn't even take the time to write anything down or create a file so everytime I talked to him it was the same questions. He tried to pass me off to another lawyer at the firm till I told him how I felt about that. I interviewed and paid you not this guy! He had no knowledge about the law of my case. He told me the deal was 3 years in PRISON and 10 years probation. 50K Couldn't even keep me out of prison on a 7 to 15 year F2 I'm still doing 13 years. What did I pay for??? Not only that he told me 3 years in prison you'll be out in 2.5 with gain time.. I had to tell him this charges comes with a mandatory sentence. Then he had the nerve to ask me to send him that info.. HEY MAN YOUR THE ATTORNEY. Another big one is he told me that my probation doesn't involve gps monitoring, I don't see that anywhere in there. Well after 3 years in Florida DOC I'm now on probation with an ankle monitor for the next ten years. Your better off having a muppet represent you then this guy.
Nick and his assistant Angela were outstanding. Handled the case with ease and professionalism. They were incredibly understanding and driven to help resolve the case. I can’t recommend anyone better!!!
This is a 2nd reveiw for how great Nick is. I watched him in court fight for us. The sentence was 12 yrs, the DA offered 7 yrs, and the judge offered 1 yr. Nick stood his ground with the judge. There is no doubt whatsoever that the facts Nick mentioned to the judge is why he offered such a great deal. Nick just has all the right words. Thanks Nick for all your hard work. HC.

This was my personal text to my attorney today. I can't even begin to explain what Nick did for me or how much I would recommend him but maybe this personal message will help. -I feel like I need to let you know what you being good at your job has done for me. I found my mom on the floor 5 weeks ago literally the day I was arrested. Which I will add was the only time and only reason I wasn't playing the game with the officer. Usually I'm like yeah go ahead check what you want. Today I'm taking my mother off of the ventilator and bringing hospice in. You alleviating the stress of losing my Master Captain credentials,my job,and my gun rights which let's keep in mind I was helping a homeless person. That alone would have been life changing. In a nutshell what I'm saying is keep doing what you're doing There are so many people that need you and your defense. I know my case was simple but for me having you was life-changing . Thank you.
