Disappointing overall experience with this firm. Communication was inconsistent, and I did not feel respected or properly supported throughout the process. It often felt like the priority was billing rather than delivering competent legal representation. Important aspects of my case were not handled correctly, which made me question their professionalism. My Chapter 7 case dragged on for nearly a year, which I believe was the result of poor representation and lack of proper case management. I recommend others proceed with caution and consider alternative firms.
Unprofessional and disappointing experience. Communication was poor, and I was treated with a lack of respect throughout the process. It felt like the firm was more interested in collecting fees than properly representing my case. Key details were not handled correctly, and I did not feel confident in their work. My Chapter 7 case took nearly a year due to what I believe was poor representation. I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere for reliable legal support.
Although the bankruptcy case was for my son, I accompanied him throughout the process and had the opportunity to work closely with Timothy Kingcade and his staff. Based on that experience, I would give this firm a 10 out of 10 for their exceptional service. Mr. Kingcade was extremely knowledgeable, informative, and took the time to explain the process clearly. His expertise and guidance helped make a difficult situation much easier to understand and manage. The staff was outstanding from beginning to end. I would especially like to recognize Samantha, who first assisted us at the front desk, as well as Leidy, Jessica, Tina, and Anyeri. Everyone was kind, professional, patient, and genuinely helpful. I do not want to leave anyone out because the entire team provided excellent service. The staff went above and beyond by helping us locate important documents online and printing them for the file. They ensured that all paperwork was prepared promptly, and the Zoom meetings were scheduled early enough for us to review everything in advance and be fully prepared. We were also given the option to use their office for a Zoom meeting, which was extremely helpful. The professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail shown by Mr. Kingcade and his staff made a stressful process much easier. I highly recommend this firm to anyone seeking bankruptcy assistance

If bankruptcy is your only option and you need an attorney don’t go to this firm. Attorney Kingcade will tell you half-truths to make you feel confident and hopeful. Kingcade Garcia McMaken is a bankruptcy mill. You are just a number, and they care only about the money. If your case is simple, your salary is lower and you don’t have assets to protect it will be fine. If your income is higher and you have assets to protect be very careful. They made sloppy mistakes, leaving deductions out that could have helped my case. The paralegals are unprofessional and rude. When we went to sign the documents, we had to wait for the paralegal to finish her conversation with the pharmacy about his father's medication. When we had to produce additional documents, she hurried us by saying that if we weren't done soon, we would be charged for the extra time. Look for another firm, maybe smaller or less famous but surely more competent and honest.
I had an excellent experience with Kingcade Garcia McMaken. From the very beginning, Tim Kingcade took the time to personally sit with me, explain everything in detail, and truly made me feel reassured and confident throughout the entire process. His professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care really stood out. I also want to especially highlight attorney Jessica McMaken- she was absolutely amazing. She was always available whenever I called (and that was many times), extremely responsive, patient, and supportive. Having that level of access and communication made a stressful situation so much easier to handle. The entire team was attentive, organized, and on top of everything from start to finish. I always felt informed, supported, and in good hands. I highly recommend Kingcade Garcia McMaken to anyone looking for a trustworthy and highly professional legal team.
Kingcade helped me personally back in 2019 & he was amazing from the moment I sat in his office and helped me personally. Not to long ago I needed help again with a business matter & he helped me right away personally in a timely manner. He is a super straight forward, honest & reasonable attorney. If you're looking for the right attorney to help you out, Kingcade is the one! Trust me!
If I can give this firm 0 stars I would. Big mistake by hiring Tim. Let me start by saying he is very rude and so is his staff! They also do not disclose important information and later on hit you with fees I never knew about. Here is my story. When I first hired him he told me to give him an estimate of my debt and I did he put that number in the contract and charged me. Later on when they pulled my credit report it turns out I had more debt and was charged another payment for having more debt. I found out later that’s a very unethical way to run business, he was supposed to pull my credit report first from the beginning and then gave me a price for his services. Once bankruptcy was filed I got a call from my insurance broker regarding a letter she received that I owed her money, which I didn’t. I tried to get to the bottom of it and called the office, but they were very rude and didn’t help me. At first staff told me that if she received a letter was because I gave them a bill that I owe her money which I explained that she’s just a broker I don’t owe her any money I might owe the insurance company money, but not her. I asked staff to go over the bills with me and they did not help me. they said I would have to come in person which I wasn’t in town at the time so I wasn’t able to go into the office very dismissive. After my hearing with the trustee, I get a phone call from this firm saying that if I want to keep the car, I need to pay a $250 fee for a reassurance contract. I was highly upset that they keep coming up with fee fees and fee fees after fee fees and catching me blindsided so I expressed to them that they should’ve been warned from the beginning because I did let them know multiple times I would like to keep my car during this Bankruptcy process.. someone could’ve mentioned to me that there was a possibility I would be charged a fee for a reassurance contract, which was never told to me disclosed no information was ever given to me. They did not give me any other options. They said if I want to keep my car, I have to pay the fee. I asked to get transferred to Tim to explain to him how frustrated I am. Once I got on the phone with him after 30 seconds he cut me off and said “how can I help you all you’re doing is complaining”, he didn’t care about his client at all and then later proceeded to tell me he was filing a motion to withdraw. Spoke to other attorneys regarding the situation and they actually gave me peace of mind. They even went over the pros and cons of the reassurance contract. I wish I would’ve hired them instead of this office. At the end, it turns out I didn’t have to pay the $250 fee for the reinsurance contract like this office was trying to make me do. Please do not hire this law firm they are horrible. They don’t care about you and they treat you bad. Edit 12/4/25: Someone from this office responded to my review. I have no idea what they are talking about regarding the judge, not agreeing to any of my claims. I never submitted any claims. I never talked to a judge, just to show you guys. They are very unprofessional and have no idea what they’re doing. They keep saying my car is gonna get repossessed. I just got off the phone with the bank from my car and they said I’m completely fine as long as I keep making payments. they have no idea what they’re doing.
I was impressed by Timothy Kincade’s responsiveness, compassion and genuine care in answering my questions. He took the time to explain my options clearly without any pressure, and treated me with dignity and respect throughout the legal consultation. Tina was very kind and responsive. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone seeking knowledgeable and compassionate legal guidance.
