Outstanding attorney service with professionalism and clear communication from start to finish. They handled my case with care, attention to detail, and strong legal knowledge. Highly recommend this law firm for anyone needing a reliable and experienced attorney.
I would strongly recommend this law firm to anyone needing their services particularly in the area of Bankruptcy and post bankruptcy resettlement. Jonathan Semach who I primarily dealt with is the epitome of professionalism personified. Always took time to answer all questions and guide me through the entire process. Nicole was the exceptional legal assistant as well as Stacy who just made me feel at home. My few interactions with Buddy were always polite, encouraging and reassuring. This a well run law firm and I would rate them the Best In The Bay Area hands down. Kind Regards Ken
Buddy is an outstanding lawyer who truly goes above and beyond for his clients. From the very beginning, he was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly responsive. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made the entire process feel much less overwhelming. You can tell he genuinely cares about his clients and their outcomes. I felt confident and supported every step of the way. I highly recommend Buddy to anyone looking for a trustworthy, dedicated, and skilled attorney.
Filing for bankruptcy was a huge decision for me. I tried other methods to alleviate my debt, but ultimately I found myself in an unwinnable situation. Anyone who finds themselves in the same situation, where the so called "debt relief" companies promise you reduced payments to the credit card issues, in lieu of bankruptcy, do yourself a favor and file bankruptcy immediately. I spent 18 months paying faithfully into the "payment program" in order to pay off my credit card debt, only to have the goal posts moved on me when the law group handling the debt relief negotiations informed me that I would have to increase my monthly payment by double the originally negotiated payment amount, they also lengthened the term of payments from 36 months to 48. Needless to say, I found myself in a position I had not imagined. I immediately set out to find relief. I researched numerous avenues, but everything pointed to filing bankruptcy. I prayed, looked diligently for a lawyer who had the experience I needed to help me through this. I found Ford and Semach and while I live an hour away from the firm's office, the instant I walked into the office, I knew my prayer had been answered. From the intake clerk, to my assignment to Jonathan and Leigh, and absolutely everyone on this team...I have never felt more genuinely cared for, more like family. I had a natural initial mistrust for ALL lawyers. Having met the firms founder, Buddy Ford (a genuinely nice man), and after meeting my attorney, Jonathan Semach and his assurances at my first meeting, well I must admit everyone played a role in truly putting to rest any distrust I entered the office with. I can absolutely say without reserve that I love this firm...each person is wonderful, genuine and you just know they care about your situation. You aren't a cut and paste client. You're an individual with a situation that needs personal care. They do it without making you feel like a "fee". They do it with honesty and ease. If you're contemplating bankruptcy and need sincere and honest guidance, call Ford and Semach without hesitation, you'll be glad you did.
Buddy, John, and the entire staff are amazing people to work with and deliver results that constantly exceeded my expectations. They are the best attorneys I've ever hired in my career. They helped me through a very difficult time in my life and handled my situation as if I was a personal friend or family member. I highly recommend them.
Mr. Buddy and his staff are incredible. Law suits can get very stressful and frustrating but working with Mr. Buddy made it as painless as it can possibly be. 100 percent would recommend!
I retained Attorney Jonathan Semach of Buddy Ford Law Offices when I was involved with a Chapter 13 case. This was not just a straightforward case which is outlined below. Mr. Semach provided extrordinary representation in an already extremely difficult situation which was substantial to say the least. To put this into context, I was originally represented by a different attorney and law firm in a Chapter 13 case. Unbeknown to me at the time, and for quite awhile, this attorney misrepresented me, betrayed me and caused irrevocable harm to me. I will not divulge his name as I have written an extremely negative review of him, filed a complaint to the Florida Bar, and he was ordered the disgorgement of fees by the judge, all which is occurring currently. Some people may have undesirable experiences with an attorney. But I can say unequivocally that this previous attorney should never be allowed to practice law again. Attorney Semach stepped in after seeing the months of negligence through court documents done to me by the prior attorney. He told me after reviewing this case no one should have to go through what happened to me and he wanted to help. So he and his team took on my case and spent considerable amount of time gathering all of the information and documents needed to represent me in court. During the court appearance, the judge on the case spoke very highly to and about Mr. Semach taking over a ‘mess’ as she put it in a very unusual situation. The judge even went so far as to commend Mr. Semach on his significant actions. Not only did Mr. Semach come to my aid when no other attorney would, he did it with expertise, respect and compassion for all I went through. The relief I had that an attorney would come to my defense in such a hopeless situation is beyond what anyone would expect between an attorney-client relationship. Mr. Semach is still representing me with the original case and providing advise and counsel as I try to move forward. If you are considering an attorney to represent you in Attorney Semach’s field, you can rest assure that Mr. Jonathan Semach and his team will not only provide expert and timely defense on your behalf, but also the clarity and respect that is so important when choosing representation. Had I realized this and retained Mr. Semach originally, I have no doubt my case would have been handled correctly with a much different outcome. I will forever be grateful to Mr. Semach for taking on a case which needed an abundance of effort and skill to achieve any positive outcome.
