Earlier this year, my daughter Tiari was involved in a car accident that turned our world upside down.
What started as an absolute nightmare slowly revealed itself to be one of the biggest blessings God could have ever wrapped in pain.
Her biological father had purchased her car about a year before the accident, and when it happened, the vehicle was deemed a total loss. My baby is a new college student, working full time, trying to do everything right—and suddenly she was left without transportation. She was overwhelmed, stressed, depressed, and trying so hard to stay strong when life felt so unfair.
In the middle of all that, God did what only God can do.
I reconnected with a dear friend of mine who works at Durham Law Group—Francesca Castoria. Without hesitation, she jumped right in, working crazy hours and fighting relentlessly for my princess. Unfortunately, the other parent’s immaturity and refusal to cooperate made an already difficult situation even harder. The insurance company initially accepted fault but issued a very small property damage check instead of fairly replacing my baby’s car. It felt like another door slammed shut.
But Francesca was determined.
She, Joe, and the entire Durham Law Group team fought hard—and because of their persistence and integrity, they were able to secure the maximum payout for my daughter.
Now… my baby is going this weekend to test drive three beautiful, almost brand-new cars. 😭✨
And if that wasn’t enough—here’s the part that still gives me chills.
I personally picked up the check and reunited with Francesca after nearly 10 years of not seeing each other. Little did we know… we BOTH now live in the Tampa Bay Area. What are the odds? What was meant for harm became healing, provision, and the rekindling of a beautiful friendship.
The Bible tells us:
“The Lord will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge.” — Psalm 91:4
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. — Isaiah 55:8
God truly works in ways we could never imagine. He covers our children. He turns devastation into destiny. He brings the right people back into our lives at the exact right moment.
Grateful. Faith-filled. And forever trusting His plan. 🙏💙✨

You fought hard, you stood firm, and you treated my daughter like she was your own. Your dedication, long hours, persistence, and heart made all the difference during one of the most stressful moments of her young life. We will forever be grateful for how you showed up for my baby when she needed it most. 💙🙏
