I retained Robert Mandell in June 2023 to represent my son during one of the most difficult moments our family has ever faced. Initially, I felt reassured by his confidence and involvement. However, as the case progressed, I experienced significant concerns regarding communication, transparency, and overall follow-up.
Over time, obtaining updates became increasingly difficult, and I often felt unclear about the status of the case and who was actively handling it. Additional attorneys became involved, but those transitions were never fully explained to me. This created considerable uncertainty during an already stressful situation.
One of my greatest concerns was the lack of communication surrounding important developments in the case. As a parent trying to support my son from another country, I expected a much higher level of clarity and responsiveness.
On May 30, 2024, I met with Mr. Mandell in person at his Orlando office. During that meeting, there was acknowledgment that aspects of the case could have been handled differently, and the possibility of reviewing part of the fees paid was discussed. Unfortunately, no resolution ever followed.
Since then, I have made multiple attempts to resolve these concerns directly and professionally, including formal communications and a complaint through the Better Business Bureau. To date, I have not received a meaningful response.
This review reflects only my personal experience and that of my son. Every case is different, but based on our experience, I would encourage prospective clients to carefully evaluate their options before retaining this firm.
